Dental floss is one of the most important aspects of dental hygiene. It is easy to pick your teeth with a toothpick after every meal and think it’s okay, but unless you are getting in between your teeth where the teeth touch, you aren’t getting everything. Where the teeth touch is where bacteria really like to hide and cause problems. In fact, brushing your teeth only gets about half of the nastiness off of your teeth, leaving you at risk of many problems. Floss is the only thing that can, sufficiently, attack the rest of the bacteria and keep your mouth clean.
