DENTIST

Dr. Heckman moved to Lexington in 2002 to pursue a career in dentistry at the University of Kentucky.  He received his bachelor's degree from UK in 2006, then entered the DMD program at the UK College of Dentistry.  Upon graduation in 2010, Dr. Heckman accepted a position as an associate dentist in Southeastern Kentucky.  

In 2013, Dr. Heckman moved back to the Bluegrass to open his own practice in Jessamine County.  He is very excited about returning to Central Kentucky and establishing the new practice.

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Tiffany has been a part of the Heckman Dental family since August 2014. She graduated from Bluegrass Community & Technical College with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2013 and earned her bachelor degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Health Science in 2015.  Tiffany served as president for BGDDHA (Bluegrass District Dental Hygiene Association) from 2014-2015. She is an active member in the ADHA (American Dental Hygiene Association).  She became certified for General Supervision in 2015, giving her the flexibility and independence to work without Dr. Heckman present.  Tiffany also has her anesthesia certification as well as being trained in laser debridement. She is from Nicholasville where she lives with her husband and three daughters. Outside of the dental office, she enjoys all things outdoors, including camping and fishing!

OFFICE MANAGER

Bethany joined our team as Assistant Manager in September of 2015.  Bethany was recently promoted to Office Manager.  She has experience with all aspects of a dental office from front to back, including her coronal polishing certification.  She has worked the reception area and as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (certified from the Institute of Dental Technology) since 2012.  Being a Nicholasville native, she enjoys raising her family in a close-knit community.

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Carina joined the Heckman Dental team in March, 2017.  Since beginning her career with us, she has acquired her radiograph certification and her coronal polishing certification.  She is highly motivated and eager to expand her knowledge in the dental field.

FRONT DESK

Savannah joined the Heckman Dental team in April 2018. She is from the small town of Jackson which is located in Eastern KY. Savannah moved to Lexington in April 2018. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family, fiance and shopping.
